July 23 rd

Well I know it's been awhile since I've posted and it's weird we've had to get a new keyboard and I'm still not use to it for just straight typing. I don't do much of that in my everyday doing of things. Anyway, let's see what is new. With Terry and I not much except Terry is still trying to get use to his hearing aids and it's not as easy as one would think. His one ear is beyond hope so he's only got a hearing aid in one ear so that makes it even harder to get use to. He has to be looking at you to really hear you and he really has a hard time in crowds and in restaurants where the is so much outside noise. Has hard time in church too but he is really trying hard to adjust and they have been working hard with him. He has been having dizzy spells too and they are working with him on that too. He is supposed to go for therapy for that but it's not yet set up. On the another front our son in law had a bad accident when they were on vacation in Tennessee. They went zip linning and he came in too fast and hit the back of his leg and tore it up badly, He's had 3 surgeries including one for skin grafting and the skin graft is taking to slow adhear. He's has been having to stay off his feet in order for it to heel. Also while they were down there Patti had a car wreck and totaled their Van. She wasnt' hurt, thank goodness. But they sure didn't need that added on to Greg's leg accident. In the end all got handled and she's been driving Terry's car for the past 2 weeks as their insurance didn't cover a rental and now they finally with the help of Greg's father have gotten another car so now we just have to get Greg better. The doctor down at the trauma hospital said it looked like a grenade went off in his leg, and it's going to be a long road back in recovering and therapy and all. He needs to go back to a skin specialist again next week and then eventually an orthopedic for therapy. We just hope they are understanding about it where he works as he's going to be off for quit awhile. I Think he is on some sort of disability for now but I don't know how long that will last. Please keep him in your prayers. Thank You. Well I guess that's it for now. Love and hugs..

A lot going on in your life. I can understand why you haven't been writing. So sorry about the problems with your son-in-law and your daughters accident. Hope all goes well there. You know Katy's husband has hearing aid in one ear and no hearing in the other I believe. You should ask her how he got on so well.
