Thursday May 28th

Well there is my oldest grandson Jonathan and he's now a High School graduate. Last night we went to his graduation and it was really nice, all those purple caps and gowns were really a sight to see and when they called Jonathan's name it brought a tear to my eyes just thinking of all that boy has been through in his life time. His couches realize what he's been through too as he was given an award for courage. That was given to him at the mass on Monday morning so we didn't get to see that, but just hearing about it sure made me proud. I know what Jonathan has been through and he was a tough kid and came out strong and has grown into a fine young man. After graduation last night we went and celebrated with them and had a beer and some food at the local pub that one of Jonathan's friends parents own. It was a fun time. Michael, our son, said he bought Jonathan his first beer, probably the first of many that Jonathan will drink, but I sure hope he drinks wisely. He is going with some friends down to Panama Beach for vacation next week and I sure worry about that, but he's 18 and you can't stop them you can only pray they use their head and behave and have nice clean fun.

On another note today is our Anniversary. 43 years and I wouldn't change a thing. Life couldn't be better. We have been so blessed. I have been so blessed to have such a loving caring man, that would do anything for me and has. My best friend, I don't know what I'd do with out him. I thank God every day that he has given him to me.

Tonight we are going up by our old house near Cowen Lake and going to dinner to a cozy little place that has the best steaks ever. We are hoping our old neighbors go with us but we're not sure. Kim's brothers just died on Tuesday, so we're not sure if they will be able to go or not and yet it might be good for them to get out. It was a sudden death, very sudden. He was only about 50. Keith is his name. Please pray for him and the family.

Also please pray for Terry's cousin Alan who is now back in a Health Care facility. After we left Florida he went down hill and didn't exercise and then got a chemo treatment that got the best of him and he couldn't walk and had to be put back in the hospital and from there into the Health Care facility. He is now having to go through physical therapy again to build up his strength. He doesn't seem to be putting 100% into this. Pray he puts more into it. He's got to push hard and really want to get better before it's going to happen. He's never been one to exercise and he's not liking it. If he wants to get better he's got to put more into it.

Have good day all. Hugs.
