2/11/13

I hadn't realized that it had been so long since I'd blogged. Not that anything earth shattering has happened in my life to tell you about cause nothing has. Terry and I are just going along same as always but we have been busy with the grand kids. One of our daughters, her oldest, Jared has been given a scholarship. It's part football and part academic which I think is even better that just all football, but anyway it's to a small college down in Kentucky called Lindsey Wilson and he signed with them last Wednesday and we went down with them for his signing. It was very exciting for him and the whole family. It was a 3 1/2 hr drive each way and the signing was a 4:30 pm to give all the kids time to get there from all over the US that were signing. Then the trip home after a nice dinner, so it was a long day and a long drive home which did Terry's back in. He was hurting pretty bad by the time we got home. Just goes to show us that any long trips are out of the question for us any more. Other than that we've been busy with our daughter's youngest son Adam who is in the 7th grade and has been in the finals for basketball. So we've been going to his games and rooting his team on. His last game was Saturday and they won the finals in the District for the State, so we are very proud of him and his team too. They each got individual trophy's and the teams got a big one too, and Adam was named all team all star. That was nice!! The school opted not to go all the way to state for some reason. Maybe next year. They sure had a great season and a great team with a good group of boys and parents and grandparents too. It's been a fun year with them all. Other than that not much has been going on. I've been busy reading Ken Follett's Trilogy that he's got out now and it's been great. His third book isn't even out yet but I just finished his second book called "Winter of the Worlds" and it was as good as the first one and for the life of me I can't remember the name of that one. Both are huge books but have a great story line with allot of history mixed in. Usually I don't like history but this on I loved and really felt I learned allot too. The story and characters were so mixed in with the story line that it was great. I can't wait for book three to come out.

Hey Guys! We miss you all like crazy! It seems like forever since we have talked to you. Sorry we are so lame at keeping in touch. We have been so busy: all the little dudes are playing ball so we seem to have at least one game a night. We can't believe how big Henry has gotten! He is the cutest little munchkin ever! Good work you two! We need to talk soon and can't wait to see you guys! Much Love, Aaron and Andra
