Monday January 31st

Monday again. It does seem to roll around fast even though we don't do much. We did sign up for Netflix this past week. We can not get movies on our one big TV, streaming so they say any time we want. We just pick one that's being offered and watch it. It's really sort of nice. They usually offer pretty many at a time to pick from 24/7 and it's only $7.99 a month.

Yesterday we went over and watched our granddaughter play volleyball. She is in the 7th grade and I really expected to see a pretty good game, but was sort of disappointed at the level and the quality at which they played. I remember how Patti played at that age and she was allot better. They have mothers coaching who have never played volleyball which is a shame. They need someone coaching that has some experience. These girls need some help or they will never be able to make it in the High School level. I loved watching Patti play volleyball in High School. She was really good and could have gone on to play in college. She was offered a scholarship but she was not a good student and would have only been going to play volleyball and not for school so she turned it down. It was a wise decision on her's and our part. She played allot of volleyball for fun after high school until she hurt her knee.

Also read the best book this past week. You have to read it, it's called "Heaven is for Real" by Todd Burpo with Lynn Vincent. It was the best book I've ever read. Real short read about a little 4 year old boy who died on the operating table and nobody knew it and he starts talking about Jesus and heaven and the things he saw. Please get this book Lois and anybody else that reads this. You won't regret it. It's a wonderful read, that you will want to tell everyone about and pass on to all your friends. Enjoy. I hope you read it. Hugs.
