1/2/13/

Sorry Lois I forgot again. Last week we went to our primary care doc for Terry one day and then the next day we both went to the dentist which I absolutely hate to do but we both knew we had cavities so we knew we had to go. Well on the way out I asked if it was OK to eat on the filling and they said yes but be careful that you don't bite on your lip because of the nova cane you won't be able to feel it. So we went home and I proceeded to have a bowl of soup and crackers and wam bam I proceeded to go right ahead and bite my lip. I didn't even realize it till later. Darn if that thing is not still sore. My lip was swollen for a few days and it is still a bit but only on the inside and it's still a bit sore. I know that sores inside your mouth are long in healing so shame on me. I'll never do that again and I thought I was really being careful too. What a dummy I am. Well it's kept me from eating much and that's been a good thing. Making sure I'm eating soft things. Terry has been having trouble with his hearing or his hearing aid again again. He's been back to the audiologist and they rechecked his hearing and now he goes back to the EMT doctor tomorrow. I know he's not hearing real well, especially in groups. He only hears the one on his good side or the one in front of him and all the outside noise is terrible. I keep hoping they can help him or get him a different hearing aid that will work better. His one ear they can't do anything for at all. He's lost all hearing completely in that ear. At one time they mentioned getting Choler Implants and I think if they would mention it again he might go for it because he's sure not hearing very good this way. Well I'm hoping they can do something better for him. I feel sorry for him in groups, I can tell by the look on his face that he's not hearing what is being said by everyone, and not feeling part of the group. It's sad. We've been going to a few basketball games for the grand kids once in awhile when the play a home courts. I don't know if I told you or not but the one Grand Son that graduated from HS last year has enlisted in the Navy and is going into Nuclear Engineering program. He leaves for basic training the end of February. This is one of my son's 8 kids, the 3rd one down and the first one to really know what he really wants to do. He and Terry have always been really really close and talk allot about things, always talking History and Military stuff, and I think he picked the Navy to follow in Grandpa's footsteps. Terry couldn't be prouder. He's the first one to go away and that's going to be hard the family and on us too. Well I finally remembered and I wrote a nice long on for you. Hope your having a nice week. I'm sort of having a crummy one with my lip bothering me, but I'll live, I'm sure. Hugs.

Ouch..so sorry you bit the lip. That does hurt, I know from experience! Katy's hubby got a new hearing aid and it is so good he heard himself chew for the first time and heard his footsteps which I guess he never has. Strange stuff.

Hello, Neat post. There's a problem along with your web site in internet explorer, might check this? IE still is the market leader and a big section of other people will miss your great writing because of this problem.
