Saturday

This year has gone so fast that I can't believe it. Seems like it just flew by. I guess as you get older they do that, I don't know. Anyway, last night we had our Christmas dinner out with my sister and brother and their spouses and then went back to my sister's for dessert. It was very nice and nice having us all together and it was nice getting updates on everyone kids and grand kids. Today we're going over Patti's to celebrate Adam's and Greg's birthday's that are both on the 9th. Father and son both on the same day. She's making my chili recipe as that's what they both wanted. I'm looking forward to that.

This past week we lost a good friend. One of the fellas that we go to dinner with every week passed away. Joe Celenza. We've only known Joe and Doris for about 2 years but we have really gotten close to them in that short time, having dinner with them every Tuesday night and we will miss him terribly. Joe's been through allot in his life and now he's out of pain. Joe was all stooped over in pain from his back pain and had dialysis 3 times a week and he was having stomach pain and they found a bleeding ulcer and fixed that and he was still having pain and they were going to do a another test last Saturday and he passed away during the night. He was a great guy and he and Terry had so much in common and they could just talk on and on about different wars and history stuff and his brother and his wife are the other couple that we go out with and he's really broken up about it. If you could would you please keep all these folks in your prayers. Thank you so much. Joe and Doris were married for 58 years and I know Doris is going to be very lonley without Joe by her side. Hugs.
